How it all started
GinisArt started at the hands of Israt Noor [Gini], a disabled Muslim American woman, created beautiful embroidered designs and scarf pins by hand. These unique designs and color patterns grew into what is now GinisArt.
Our Products
All of our products are handmade! Our designs are hand-stitched and individually placed using the traditional Karchupi style in Bangladesh.
As a Muslim woman, Gini created GinisArt with the goal of allowing Muslim women to wear the traditional hijab and let their beauty shine even while covering up. She felt it was difficult to find the right hijab to wear with her various styles. And she never wanted to wear something that everyone else was wearing so she decided to create her own designs.
How We Support
Our team of women in Bangladesh are skilled in their craft and we support disabled women. We contribute 10% of all earnings to charities that directly fund opportunities for women in Bangladesh.
